Things to Download and Print

The following items are meant to be printed on paper, though you can also just read them on your computer screen.  All are PDF files.  If your computer cannot handle PDF files, go to www.adobe.com to download and install the Adobe Reader application.

  1. My Worker’s Comp Log - Instructions and a forms for tracking the details of your workers' compensation claim.  Print the first two pages and several copies of the third page and use them to log all your appointments and calls - everything that happens.  Take your log to your medical appointments to help your doctors quickly grasp your situation.
  2. How to Minimize Life and Work Disruption Due to Injury or Illness - Tip sheet for injured workers.  Print a copy for yourself and your spouse.
  3. Tips for Managing Your Employee’s Health-Related Employment Disruption - Tip sheet for supervisors.  Print a copy and give it to your supervisor, manager, or HR representative.
  4. Handbook for Injured Employees - "We Care About You" - BWC's handbook for injured workers with useful information about how the claim process works, benefit types and amounts, contact information, etc.  Has much more detailed information about benefits than this site.
