For questions about your claim, questions about Ohio workers' compensation benefit provisions, or to update BWC about your work status:

1)  Use the BWC website - Injured Workers page to get detailed information about your claim over the web.  You must first set up an e-account and then log in with your password to use these features.  If you haven't yet set up a user account, see Set Up Your User Account for the BWC Website for instructions.

2)  There is an on-line support feature ("chat") on the BWC website that you can use during regular business hours to get help.  You don't have to log in to use this. See the bottom of the left-hand menu on most pages of the BWC website for the "click here to get help" link.

3)  Call the BWC Contact Center at 1-800-OHIOBWC (1-800-644-6292).  You will be given a series of prompts, which include a number of self-service options as well as the ability to speak to a Customer Service Representative.  If you need more information than the self-service options provide, the CSRs can answer many of your questions.  For those they cannot, the CSR will connect you to your assigned Claims Service Specialist (CSS).  Have your claim number handy when calling - it is on the BWC Identification Card mailed to you by BWC.

4)  Call your Claims Service Specialist at the number provided on your BWC Identification Card, or through the BWC Contact Center above.  They may also provide you with their email address.

Further details about contacting BWC are on the BWC website Contact Us page

To reach your MCO case manager to discuss issues about your medical care:

Use the phone number on the benefit card mailed to you by BWC to reach your MCO case manager.  If you have misplaced that, check our page with MCO Contact Information or look up the MCO's general phone number on the BWC website.
