How to Play Your Part

This section gives advice on things you should do to minimize the impact of your workplace injury on your daily life, your health, and your ability to earn a living.  You have many choices in how to play your part in a workers' compensation claim, and we want to help you make the choices that will be best for you.  This advice may not be obvious, especially if this is the first workers' compensation claim you have ever had.

It may not feel like it right now, but you have a lot of power to make things turn out well and get back on your feet.  The three section topics below offer suggestions for how to handle this upset in your life.  A set of short tips that complement these points is in the downloadable brochure entitled Helpful Tips for Injured Workers.
