Key Websites

The websites below can be very helpful to you in dealing with your workers' compensation claim in Ohio.  Check them out now so you'll know what's available!  (Note: Important web resources for medical information are listed under Medical & Health Info.)

A.  This website - the Early Injury Assistance site

This site duplicates much of the material from your call with the EIA specialist, to help you remember what you heard on that call.  It has general orientation information about workers' compensation and advice on how to get the best possible result in spite of your injury.  It gives tips on how to deal with common issues that arise for injured workers, and links to many useful references and other websites.

B.  Main BWC website

BWC's website has general information, forms, and publications that are useful to injured workers, and also provides many functions that let you see current information about your claim on-line.  For many claim status questions, this may be more efficient than calling your Claims Service Specialist.

C.  MCO websites

The MCOs oversee medical care on workers' compensation claims.  Your employer has selected a specific one to work with, which will be listed on the BWC Identification Card you received in the mail.  (If you have misplaced the card, you can look up the MCO on the BWC website on the Injured Workers page, or call the BWC Contact Center.)  Each MCO has their own website, listed on the MCO Contact Information page.
